Hello, World!
Eden Ehm, MS-BIA, MBA
Data Multi-Hyphenate
Scientist | Analyst | Visualizer | Thought Leader
I have 10+ years of experience using analytical, mathematical, and statistical methods to deliver results in diverse industries. An undergrad math major focusing on applied math, I am an expert in mathematical modeling and statistical analysis. Through my business intelligence and analytics graduate program, I gained proficiency in various coding and programming languages, software programs, and technical skills.
Throughout my career, I've built a reputation as a skilled data translator capable of explaining complicated findings and technical details in understandable and engaging ways. This includes data visualization. Presenting complex data in an accurate, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing way is an enjoyable challenge. I love how data viz combines data, art, psychology, and storytelling!
I love predictive analytics, especially machine learning. Using technology to mine big data to identify trends, predict the future, and inform business decisions - and then waiting to see if my predictions come true - is exciting! What data tells us about the future is just, if not more, important than what it tells us about the past.
I was the 1st ever data scientist at my last company! I led a Data Science Team, built MLOps, and developed classification, optimization, regression, marketing mix, attribution, and other models. I also performed ad hoc exploratory data analysis, created internal and external data visualizations, mentored others, and more!

As someone whose education and career took a winding path toward data, I champion career diversity as a competitive advantage for long-term career growth and success. I post online about my career journey, focusing on actionable advice and #DataRealTalk. I also participate in group and 1x1 educational and networking events to connect with and mentor current data students, with a special emphasis on supporting individuals in groups underrepresented in data careers.
